Dr. Dionnie DeWitt

was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to the Rev. Alfred Burt and formerly Dianne Sloane-Burt. At the tender age, the Lord began revealing himself to her through dreams and visions at (8), the family relocated to New York. Pastor DeWitt received her formal education in the public school system of New York, and it was during these times that Pastor DeWitt would preach her intimal message at the age of (16), entitled “I Found Love under New Management,” under the leadership of Archbishop Eric R. Figueroa, her spiritual father and mentor. During this time, Pastor DeWitt was nurtured by several strong women in the church, Dr. Doreen Figueroa, Dr. Gretchen Jefferson & Overseer Dr. Cynthia McInnis.  God allowed various doors to open for Dr. Dionnie DeWitt; she began singing, recording, and traveling from 1991 through 1993 with Pastor John P. Kee and New Life Fellowship Choir. She also later recorded with Prophet Calvin Suggs of Wilson, NC, and Bishop JD Means of Georgia. As she continued to follow the path of God, she began to travel with her Spiritual father, Prophet Lamar Cochrell of Rock Hill, SC doing tent revivals where the hunger for more of God intensified. The Ministry of Abundant Life Ministries by Pastor Roberta Hughes was led to ordain Dr. DeWitt to preach the gospel. It was during these travels that Pastor DeWitt met and married Bishop TL DeWitt, and from their union, they have three (3) lovely adult children, Gerald Emmanuel, Destinee’ Amaris, and Darius Zenas; Kason, Jamar, and Teona; five grandchildren.  Executive Overseer Dr. Dewitt and Bishop TL DeWitt founded the Beginning Anew Life Changing Outreach Ministries in 2001. Upon the consecration to the office of Bishop, Executive Overseer Dr. DeWitt was officially installed as Pastor by Apostle Sammy C. Smith, Presiding Prelate of Grace Cathedral Fellowship; she later establishes and founded the Grace Abiding Love Ministries, and to her leadership also came sons and daughters to preach and declare the gospel. Dr. Dewitt is a graduate of Northeastern Technical College, a graduate of Coker College with a B.A. in History and B.S. in Business Administration. She has her M.S.L.  in Leadership, South University. She has her Ph.D.  in Individualized Organizational Leadership. She holds an Honorary Doctorate of Evangelism from the Lighthouse Theological Seminary in Pageland, SC, and She is a member of the National and International Society of Leadership for Success as well as a part of the international honor society in Business. Dr. Dionnie DeWitt is innovative and launched Getup & ReGroup Network Enterprise LLC. for consulting and mentoring. She also released a gospel single featuring BALCOM Fellowship. She is a scholarly author, "The mind of a Leader" (2022), "Adaption & Memory: Reckless Leadership;" "Fell but I didn't Fall;" and The Pastor's Wife. Dr. Dionnie Dewitt serves as Senior leadership of the Beginning Anew Life Changing Outreach Ministry, Inc in Cheraw, and establishmentarian of the Grace Abiding Love ministries. She is a visionary leader and a establishmentarian of the BALCOM Fellowship of Churches (2005). Executive Overseer Pastor DeWitt has a heart for God. She loves young people as well as seeing God’s people enriched and having a life-changing experience. She believes change comes when you first make the sacrifice for change. Her Motto is: “Fulfilling God’s purpose on purpose.”
